You Can Get Your Cat Photo Here

Interesting that something like a cat photo can really make your day. I’m saying this not as a cat-lover by any means. I don’t own a feline and I’m actually not really crazy about the pet’s attitude in general. In a nutshell, I’m not a “cat person” but I do like a good cat photo every now and again.

This may seem a little odd but I love to look at the animals. I don’t like the idea of owning a feline. The hair is the first thing that pops into my mind. I look at a long-hair cat photo and I think about what it would be like to own one. Then I think about my wardrobe. Kiss the black outfits “goodbye” and forget about navy blue.

Okay, so I’m not a fan of the feline but I am a fan of a nice cat photo. I came to the realization after browsing through the various emails that I chose to save over the course of the year. Just about every email had a cat photo attached along with a witty note or a tear-jerking story.

My personal favorite is the Puddle of Kitten sent to me by my aunt. This cat photo takes the cake when it comes to overall cuteness. The furry kitten is tucked and snug in a ball that resembles a puddle. His little head peeks out from his furry mass just enough to let you see his adorable little face.

This one cat photo has been circulated across the globe by now and I’ve even seen the Puddle of Kitten featured on a blog here and there. Other cat photographs have been surfacing as well. You can find felines paling around with birds and mice and even dogs. There is even a cat photo of a feline hanging out with a monkey who seems completely in love.

Searching through my email, one might think that I was a rabid kitty fan but I’m really not. I guess that the idea of a feline is more appealing than its actual presence. I don’t know why a cat photo can have such an impact but I’m glad that it does. In fact, I’m beginning to think that black and navy blue clothing is over-rated.

For now, I’m going to keep my head-and my apartment-in control. I can fill the space with one cat photo after another. Maybe one day I will replace them with an actual cat.
